Manual 9500HD-S
TCPIP Settings: Used for network address allocation. Default is DHCP, here your router assigns an individual IP to your STB automatically. Should you prefer to allocate a static IP, push the OK key at cursor position DHCP. The blue mark at DHCP vanishes and you can now key in your individual data with the number keys. RED key saves your setting, Back takes you back to the previous menu.
FTP Explorer: By default you get to the NanoXX Download Site. From here you can download current software, older software, documentation and channel lists to your box. Move the cursor to the required directory, confirm with OK and download with Green (download) key to your storage device. If you want to upgrade your receiver with a more recent software, move the cursor to the required software version and confirm with OK. The upgrade will now be initiated directly without storing the upgrade-file on your storage device.
If you want to access your own or another FTP server, use Arrow right to change from Website to User site. The RED key now allows you to enter the server address, your user name and your password. If you are allowed to the server, you connect by pushing the OK key.
If you press the RED (Upload Media) key, you can also upload files from your storage device to the FTP server you are connected to. Data on your storage device will be displayed, move the cursor to the required directory, confirm with OK and use the RED (upload) key to upload your file to the server.
